This tour will show you the eastern region of the Dominican Republic in one day! Our bus takes you to Higuey, the closest town and place of Dominican pilgrimage, which was founded in 1494. You will visit the oldest remaining church of the 16th century, and will pass by the famous Basilica (photo-stop). The visit of a tipical market is also included.

You continue to La Romana and on the way you learn a lot about “everyday life” in this country. Visit a cigar factory in town and watch the fast fingers of the workers, try a cigar! One of the highlights of this tour is the visit of “Altos de Chavon”, located high above the Chavon river.
Enjoy a Dominican lunch buffet. On our return trip we will drive along the sugar cane fields.
