This excursion to the oldest town in the New World is a must for those who want to experience more than beautiful secenery. The capital Santo Domingo has about 3 million inhabitants and is the biggest town in the country.
You will visit the historic monuments in the Colonial Zone, e.g. the Cathedral, Alcazar de Colon (Columbus-Museum) and you have about one hour for shopping in the pedestrian street “Calle El Conde”.
On the way back you will visit the Aquarium, with its attraction: the shark’s tank.
