In the time between January and March, the embossment whales come into warm waters outside the coast of the Dominican Republic, into the bay of Samana. These of becoming extinct threatened sea mammals with a length up to 15m and a weight of 4 tons, pairs here and bring themselves their babies to the world. This unique nature play is in this time the touristic attraction of our region.

We drive to Sabana de la Mar with an air-conditioned bus starting from Punta Cana. This travel of approx. 3,5 h keeps not only the costs of the trip price small, but brings you at the same time a multiplicity of impressions in the Dominican life and a beautiful landscape. The guide will pass much information on about the embossment whales, drinks so e.g. a baby of 200 litres of mother's milk on the day to increase over approx. 50 kg per day and so you can calmed down looking after after these. You will take the lunch in a typical restaurant before swimming in the river. Enjoy the cool water of the cascades.
