There is tourism all year round on the island of Hispaniola. The dry season in winter lasts from october/november until may/june, the rest of the year is rainy season. During the rainy season it rains a lot, but only for short times. In between, the sun is shining and you see beautiful clouds, and lots of green plants and tropical flowers will make you forget about the rain inmediately. Actually there is nearly as much sunshine during the rainy season as during the dry season and does not get too hot, because there is almost always a nice wind coming from the coast.
